++ for being original, but is a bad idea.I have thirty votes each day, so I could reset 3 bad nodes each day and I will do so in the dead of night so nobody sees the "I'm a BIG XP BABY" in CB. This will not improve the quality of the nodes.

I will do so in the dead of night
There is no "dead of night" here, the Monastery being intertwined with the whole spatial continuum (read global). Someone at the antipodes would see the message in full daylight.

The monastery is not that global. It is rather empty in the evening, but in the afternoon when it's evening in the US, it's full. So, there must be much more people here from America than from Europe.

Errmmm... no. Well, we could still have the "I Am a Big Baby" button, and the message could still be put in the CB. Hey, I'd press it every once in a while for kicks. But node reputation is actually somewhat useful (at least I think it is), so being able to reset it is a bad idea.

No. A node's XP is not a monk's XP, and chatterbox messages disappear. | [reply] |

Sorry, I have to disagree. I have a node I could use such a button on right now. I got shellacked on a careless answer I gave. But I don't especially want to get rid of the node embarrassing though it is. It reminds me to be very cautious about what I write. Another salutary lesson(I get lots) and worth the XP.
And, btw, it is 9:36 pm on a Saturday night and there are 12 monks in the monastery (up from 6 a little earlier). I am joined by other geeks with nothing else to do on a weekend night(or a burning desire to study Perl). Someone always sees what is going on.
