The ultimate glue.

I started using perl long ago, when it was best for replacing shells‎crip‎ts with more than one grep, sed, or awk. And the formatting capabilities! Be still my heart.

Now, in the 3rd millenium, I still love that little glue language, all grown up, with features galore, and a repository of reusable code that demonstrates not only the ease of the language, but also the sense of community that has grown up around it.

What do I do? I write perl.
