japhy's got a belle

by japhy (Canon)
on Jan 24, 2004 at 05:52 UTC ( #323792=perlnews: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

I've an announcment. On December 20, 2003, I proposed to my girlfriend of nearly four years, Kristin. She said yes, of course (or I wouldn't be announcing it here). We won't be getting married anytime really soon (she's going to take a fifth year for her master's), but I thought I'd let y'all know.

Go me.

I don't want to sound like a party pooper, but are you sure you know her? Now is the time to find out (do a thorough background check :)
A background check, after 4 years???

I got you beat japhy. I knew my wife for 5 years before I proposed :-). And we've now been married for 10 years. At any rate, I wish you and your bride to be, the best of luck in all of your endeavors. Congrats.
