I would have to agree with you - there does seem to be a trend in many newer companies to produce things quickly. The philosophy is often: "If we're still around later, we can fix it."

Which is unfortunate. You can refuse to work that way, but it's never as simple as it sounds.

Personally I would choose good and fast - but then, I'm currently in academia. <grin>
