Well, there are really two reasons that I selected lo_tech.

In no particular order:

I picked up the name from the book Johnny Mnemonic by author William Gibson. While I've enjoyed Gibson's books, I do not recommend the movie. It's one of those things that was better left in print, or at least out of Hollywood.

I wanted a nick that preserved my anonymity. Not paranoid, since they are out to get me.
