i, of course, realize this and do the same thing myself to
get the node_id of a node. however, since the purpose of
this page is presumably to disambiguate similar nodes, it
seems reasonable to give the relevant information in an
explicit, visual form instead of relying on users to glean
it through other means.

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
