( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??
Good luck getting your employer to contribute :)
The best I've managed is convincing them that there's really no harm in sharing (most) of the code I've done whilst working for them, and thus have been allowed to post stuff to websites. (Sometimes even whilst actually at work! ;p)
It's one of those sort of free tech support things. If you take, and don't give, then you are just a leech. If you take, you should then 'pay' for it by answering things you are able to that others ask. This is true of so many mailing lists and forums

It's not pessimism if there is a worse option, it's not paranoia when they are and it's not cynicism when you're right.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
