OK, so I have contributed XML::Twig and I wished there
had been an answer "I have contributed a module to CPAN but I'rather not
have people look too closely at the code" ;--(
I have found that actually few people look at the code,
although it's probably because few people use the module
at all. I had mostly comments (and even patches) on the
documentation. The fact that the module is pre-processed
and that the actual code is not in XML::Twig.pm probably
does not help either.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
