Looks to me like you're going to be:
- Learning how to use the perl debugger. Emacs has a nice interactive debugging mode.
- Writing lots of test cases.
- Learning how to write pod (it's easy).
- Suggesting to your boss that someone else does it.

have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
