r yours your getting ... don't know any english word for it ... kind of "malaka"!
I didn't say anything to offend you. I just said that the whole benchmarking thing is stupid. I think you will agree if you consider the car analogue. It has no value to say that the Ferrari F1 is faster than my car, but I'd never buy one cuz it is too expensive and I can't use it on normal road. It is also wrong to say that a language is slow when in fact the implementation of the language is slow.

Anyway, I still gave you some links that have much more benchmarks of many languages. Although your comment was funny, it is still highly offensive to call a greek you don't know 'malakas'. To answer your question I am 26 years old and I am really sorry that you took personally the comment on the benchmarking thing. I am not here to insult people or be insulted so I hope this is over.

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
