I (the lazy maintainer of Mozilla::DOM who needs to apply some patches some day...) haven't really made any support for Windows yet, pending people who use Windows actually trying to install it... The install assumes you have pkg-config. If you can figure it out, please let me know how to do the equivalent on Windows of what pkg-config does (concerning library and include flags for the compiler).

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
