All monks are tempted from time to time and sometimes a monk might stray away from the good practices of the Monastery.
Last time I strayed away from proper monk behaviour, I
- did not write tests
- enjoyed life outside the Monastery
- Perl golfed with production code
- started career as a chef and made spaghetti
- was evil in my wording toward novices
- posted RTFM anonymously
- envied for my neighbors Quad core 16GB Linux server home setup
- stole bandwidth from an open wlan without permission
- lied in order to keep my job

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
