my formalized
education stopped at high school, so i don't really have many accolaids
to speak of. But about 7yrs ago, a coworker prodded me into getting an
email account at the local library. Ever since, computers have become more
and more apart of my life... until today, where i really do not do much
without one.
i learned of
perl a few years ago - along with perlmonks - however it wasn't until last
summer, that i actually touched a perl script. (one of Matt Wrights
-> yeah, i know...) and began a little, light reading about it, thru
the help of the wizard's book.
in december
2003, i built an apache localhost (with ActiveState's ActivePerl)
on my xp to do webdev/cgi work and added more books to the ol' libraray,
but didn't get around to using perl until february. The last few months,
i've been doing little that was not perl related.
there's still
a lot needed to learn about perl, programming, and computers... but we'll
get there ;-)

i have
many, many interests and have taught myself a number of disciplines...
though making money was never one of them :-P (oops).
but my dominant
interests are...
Computers,
Games, History, Languages, Movies, Music, Art, Writing, Reading (mostly
non-fiction). TVs almost always on, but i don't usually 'sit-n-watch'
it. It's just for company. (Sci-Fi, Comedies, History, or science-based/problem-solving
shows - like CSI, Junkyard Wars, Battlebots, etc - are my favourites.)
