So did I, but I typed it into Google before going to a proper dictionary site. The first link was to BrainyDictionary.com, which gives the defintion "An imitative word; an onomatopoetic word.", which helps a great deal.

    Think of it in a comic strip... an explosive word that sounds like the action it represents... SSSLLURPPP!! Is definitly appropriate.
