Computing enthusiast since ~1972 (bought my first slide rule then!), calculators (programmable) since 1977, also discovered PCs about this time. Programming in BASIC, FORTRAN for uni and beyond. System Manager for multiple VAX/VMS systems 1986 through 1995. SysAdmin for Unix systems 1995 through 1997. Programming in C since 1989, Perl since 1995, Python since 2018. Developing applications (predominantly with Perl) for analysis of SCATS traffic signal control ( see http://www.scats.com.au/ ) operational data since 1997. Retired from work (but NOT developing with Perl!) as of 18-Feb-2022. Woo-Hoo!
