Right, trademark. O'Reilly put the following text on their copyright page: The association between the image of a camel and the topic of Perl is a trademark of O'Reilly & Associates, Inc. That means that we are free to use the image of a camel in association with the topic of windsurfing without fear of infringing on the trademark. but IANAL either.
