I think the problem is that you were at that point trying to edit a post from Anonymous Monk from your regular account. You got whisked away from that page because you were no longer allowed to edit it. Is this a common enough problem to add a bunch of code that changes the owner of the node currently being edited to the just-logged-in monk? I would tend to think not, but then again, I have a login cookie set, so very seldom have to log in... If this affects people regularly, then of course it should be fixed. But if it's a "once in a blue moon" thing, I'd just assume allowing our illustrious team of pmdev and gods to work on other issues.
