You're taking merlyn to task for:
  • pointing out to PodMaster that code he wrote was obviously flawed...
That's not what delerium is talking about. He's talking about the update where merlyn calls everyone who downvotes him losers.

BTW, that update happened long before I ever saw his response.

      There's a world of difference between "That's really foolish" and "You're a fool". Perhaps merlyn thinks his disclaimer communicates that if he were to say the latter, he means the former. My reading of it is that he claims to always say the former, not the latter, not just mean it, which is patently false.
