Sounds like you don't have PerlScript configured properly in Internet Explorer. Try this:
1. In RegEdit, go to the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ActiveState\PerlScript\1.0 Hope this helps, this is what I had to do to get it to work on my system. I'm not sure why the default value for the registry key (0x00000010 - Enable for local zone) doesn't seem to work. I'd probably change the registry key back to the original value after you're done using the OLE Browser, just to be safe.
