ranjan_jajodia has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Hi Monks,
i had written a script to login into a https login site where i had used LWP. Recently i changed my os from Red Hat 8 to Suse 9.1. But i am unable to install URI module in Suse 9.1. I get a dynamic error (must be some issue with glibc or other kernel related things). here is the output when i do the 'make test':
Failed Test Stat Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- t/abs.t 45 45 100.00% 1-45 t/heuristic.t 15 1 6.67% 7 1 test skipped. Failed 2/30 test scripts, 93.33% okay. 46/454 subtests failed, 89.87% okay. make: *** test_dynamic Error 255 I even even installed Activeperl which comes with URI. But it doesnot has Crypt::SSLeay support which is required by LWP for https sites. Is there a way out without changing the OS? Thanks for help, Ranjan
