i agree. in fact, i made the proposal to jcwren with the
date in that format, but i guess he didn't notice that part.
however, since some people have already done it the silly american way on jcwren's instructions, i think that both the american mm/dd/yyyy and the iso yyyy/mm/dd should be accepted (sorry to the canadians and whatever europeans use dd/mm/yyyy). update: (so, i'm a revisionist)
