Multiple Replies to a Node

by CloneArmyCommander (Friar)
on Dec 01, 2004 at 16:36 UTC ( [id://411490]=monkdiscuss: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

I have been noticing that with nodes with multiple replies some of the replies appear just as gray boxes and it does not show the reply unless the name is clicked on. I was just curious what causes this to happen? For example, replies under Re^4:Rabbits in 409072. One of the replies is mine, and I mostly wanted to know if anyone knows if I am doing something wrong that is causing this to happen.

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

There is a user setting under.... User Settings that lets you select how deep you want to see into a thread. Increase that number, and you'll see deeper into the thread.

It's under the Note Configuration table, and the settings are called, "Replies header depth", and "Replies text depth".

Have a look at your home node -> User Settings -> Note Configuration Box.

    Kind regards

On user settings, your Note Configuration Replies text depth is hiding deep responses.
