Here's a list of predictions for 2005, in which Larry Wall plays a pretty dominant role. All in good fun, of course. Like the guy says himself: "This is, after all, more fun than real work.".

    Why anyone would choose to abandon Perl for python is beyond me, honestly. :)

      Obviously it's not the *real* Larry Wall. It's probably an AI hacked together by some Python guys and put into a body resembling Larry's.
