But it got spoilt by mug lairs such as Godzilla! Queen Of Perl Heretics.. The great thing about Usenet is that, with any newsreader worth its salt, it's easy to filter out all Godzilla/Purlgurl postings - and any replies to them as well. It's much harder to do so using Perlmonks.
