I also had to downvote this poll for the lack of multiple choice. I love Rachmaninov, still he got so little votes because I could only vote for electronic music which I definitely listen most often. Like (hopefully many) others here I have a very eclectic music collection at home and in my heart that includes The Clash, Dvorak, Shy FX, Dreadzone, Lee Perry, Johnny Cash, Breeders, The Orb, KRS One, Missy Elliott, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, just to name a few ...

I noticed that my music preferences change from time to time, like three years ago I would have chosen Rap, and if perlmonks would have already existed ten years ago, I would have voted for Alternative Rock or Reggae.

I also noticed that in some online forums about skating, adolescent kids insult each other for listening to the wrong kind of music, while both sides seem to know only two kinds of them - Rock and Hiphop.

As has been previouly mentioned many many times (and earlier in the discussion of this poll), no poll allows multiple choices.
