I've been trying to figure out *what* exactly is the type of music I listen to and have come to the conclusion that it has nothing to do with genre - more to do with the band's educational background: If they went to an art school - and bonus points if they dropped out - they're highly rated in my iTunes playlist. For example: Talking Heads, Blonde Redhead, The Swayback, Les George Leningrad, Mr. Pacman!
