Anything demanding truly high performance is often a bad fit for Perl. Many AI applications or graphics programs fall into this category. Also, declarative (or logical) programming tends to be a bad fit as Perl does not support this natively aside from a limited form with regular expressions. Cheers, New address of my CGI Course.
