a place to put reviews of perl apps( app may not be the best word )

( every time i see something on freshmeat, for example,
i always wonder if it is worth a shit, or if i will waste
time trying it out.
  often times, i like pieces, but the entire
package is not so great )

If you're referring to Code , Cool Uses For Perl , Craft and Snippets submissions, we already have that in the form of voting and comments.

Those with higher reputation will likely stand out with more positive comments.

IMHO, I don't think we have to duplicate what already exists here.
