I've heard this "Software Sucks" argument before - I didn't believe it then and I still don't now. I'm glad to finally have some ammo to shoot back with. I'm not even a 3rd year CS student, I'm barely 2nd (half way through first), so I'm glad that you pointed all these changes out that happened.
