Ben Win Lue has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Fellow Monks!

I am trying to install the DBD-Oracle package an Windows XP-environment with ActiveState.
My tool is ppm.
The modules are downloading very smooth, then I get a license agreement to read. After answering the prompt with y(es), I get a trap and the my C-Debugger loads perl.exe. Then the modules are uninstalled.
Is there anybody out there, who experienced a similar misbehaviour? Any workaround suggested?

    O wise ones!

Since nobody answered, I'll do it myself, just for the records.

There was no trap anymore after I installed the latest perl binary provided by active state.
