Support is a big concern here. From an enterprise point of view, it is the right decision to buy support and to ensure that it is there when you need it. It is like buying insurance.

Now change your viewpoint... you asked whether there was anything other languages/frameworks do that Perl cannot do. Let me ask a similar question from a different angle, what Perl does that the other languages/frameworks cannot do? That is simply not the way to prove anything or convience anyone.

This is really not just a technical issue, thus P5EE as a techincal attempt will not seriously address any of the concerns.
