If you're an Australian, then you'd know about the chaotic state of NSW political leadership at the present point in time.

#!/usr/bin/perl no warnings; undef $currentPremier; our $oppositionLeader = $futurePremier; BEGIN { $celebrating; @publicFunction; $beers++; tell $inappropriateJoke; while (($beers > 6) && (@femaleCompany)) { if (exists {$journalist{$boyfriend}) { eval { $possibilityOf; fork(); } } else { touch $journalist; } } return $home; } sleep $untilNextDay; print $pressDenial until $suspicions++; seek $partyOpinion; do `whatsBestForParty`; undef $oppositionLeader; exit $politicalArena;

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

    I would have thought that the test would have been if (!exists $journalist{$boyfriend}) { then go on to evaluate the possibility of a fork. But then again, I'm not in politics - My parents were married when I was conceived *grin*

    perl -le "print unpack'N', pack'B32', '00000000000000000000001000000000'"

      Nah, if the boyfriend isn't there he just jumps straight in for the touch. Some careful evaluation is needed if the boy's there tho.
      $beer starts off way too low. We'll never get the possiblity of a slap from a journalist that way. Needs something to bump it above 6 first.
      is $suspicions assumed to be a negative number if "neutral" ? Makese sense then I guess... but maybe while $suspicions-- could work too. Print a counter release until suspicions have been settled.

      Oh, and yes, very funny :)

    Sorry for being in bad taste, but shouldn't the last line be:
    eval {die}
