    Strange, you must be looking at a different Worst Nodes than I am. Occassionally on a slow day when the idiots are out in force something of real value might get in there with a -1 or so for a bit but that usually rectifies itself by the end of the day. Or maybe you actually do think most of the crap that gets in there is good - in which case this isn't so much of an issue with the voting system but with the wide range of opinion and ability that is represented here.

    Maybe we ought to have a "Perl Kindergarten" where everyone is made to "play nicely" so no-one gets hurt or upset.
