No, it has something to do with your level of confidence, both regard the condition of the language and the popularity of it.

    I think not. While I love Perl and have lots of fun writing programs with it, I am far more than *just* a programmer, and Perl is not the only language I use. It is the most fun (for me) and the most useful (to me), but it's not all that important to me in the great scheme of things. If something better comes along, I'll give it a try, and if it's really good, I may decide to use it, instead of Perl. So far, though, I haven't seen anything that's as much fun and as useful.

    But I wonder at the motivation of someone who comes around to snipe at people anonymously, not contributing much actual content, but certainly expressing disdain and contempt for those of us who choose Perl. Like I said last time, whatever does it for you...
