Who cares if p5ee was a failure that never produced anything or never caught up with Java? They still tried to define enterprise software, and I fouund a much more trenchant definition than I found anywhere else.

I don't really have an inferiority complex with Java, so I don't try to deny its existence eitgher.

Perhaps you disagree with the p5ee definition. You can tell us how you think they're wrong (and that would be much more useful).

One thing I would add here is that those pages are not the work of "the p5ee project" but rather of one person, Stephen Adkins. He wrote that definition, and if you like it, he is the one who deserves the credit.
