Enterprise software is anything that is is overcomplex and overpriced. Funnily enough, I believe Oracle is usually regarded as enterprise software...

    I found a lot of these glib answers on Google already.I think you mistake cause and correlation. Enterprise software may be complex and pricey, but I don't think that's what makes it enterprise software.

    What if the software were complex, but free? Does that preclude it from being enterprising useful?
