Use an anonymous array-ref "in situ":

$g_User{'user1'} = []; $g_User{'user1'}->[0] = 'Hans'; $g_User{'user1'}->[1] = 'Wurst'; print join ' ', @{$g_User{'user1'}}; __END__ Hans Wurst
