Namespace suggestions (Adobe::HFF)?

friedo has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'm working on a module that outputs files in the Adobe Highlight File (PDF) format. These files tell the Acrobat plugin what words to highlight in a PDF which is being displayed. This is useful if you have an application that searches PDFs and you want to highlight search words.

Anyway, since the format is Adobe-specific, I thought I'd call it Adobe::HFF. But there isn't anything on CPAN that begins with Adobe:: so I don't know if that's appropriate. I could call it PDF::HFF, but that seems like it might be a bit too general.

    Greetings,
    PDF::Adobe::HFF or PDF::AdobeHFF perhaps? That way users will still know its Adobe(TM) specific.

    I don't know, Spreadsheet::WriteExcel doesn't seem too general, and it's a rough analog to PDF::HFF.

    How about simply PDF::Highlight? I'm guessing that most people will know that they want to highlight words in a PDF without knowing how that actually happens. Spelling out "highlight" and leaving off the HFF let's them find the module with the same keywords they might put into a search engine. :)

    You might also like to ask this question on the module admins list, modules@perl.org. There are quite a few people there that can give you good advice about module names. :)
