30 years as a Computer Specialist for the US Govt
(That means learn everything, mostly UNIX System Admin and shell scripting)
5 years as a Software Engineer (Contracting)
2 years as a Programmer/Database Analyst (Contracting)
4 years as a Database Designer/Analyst for the City of Northampton, MA
My newest position as the Director of Administrative Computing continues my career in Databases and computers. There is so much to learn, but it's fun to learn, and I enjoy the challenges. I always seem to land on my feet, and there is always some Perl in each new place! I've added Supervisory to my list of accomplishments with this position, so I continue to grow. We'll see what life has to offer at my newest challenge!
