How appropriate. ;-)

Hint and spoiler:

The series in question is described by the following problem:

Given an unlimited supply of bananas, how far can a camel walk into the desert if it can carry only one banana at a time and if it eats one banana per mile?

The next integer in the series: 326
Original problem and solution: http://www.research.att.com/~njas/sequences/A094062
The series used for this poll: http://www.research.att.com/~njas/sequences/A101360

The latter series describes the number of bananas needed for the camel to walk into the desert at least n miles (in this case, 326 bananas are needed to go 7 miles).
