Note the casing of the name. It is Win32::TieRegistry not win32::TieRegistry

    Yes, but on Windows, he wouldn't have gotten an error about not finding a file based on its case, he would've gotten an error if he tried using things that the module exports (most likely). Not that your advice is any less correct, it just couldn't have resulted in his error on a Windows system. He's either a) not on Windows, or b) on Windows and doesn't have the module.

      in the OP, b) seems more likely than a), despite how rare that is. Even rarer that he didn't understand the error message if he built his own perl.
