The Ballad of DiscoStu

by wombat (Curate)
on Jan 24, 2001 at 03:45 UTC ( [id://53839]=poem: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

I thought this little ditty up as I was in my AI class. I guess that means I passed the Turing test since I spontaniously generated poetry. Note, I'm only doing this, because Discostu is probably not coming back in any serious form. Were he not a troll, I would not write this. :-) But since he IS a troll, please enjoy!

DiscoStu, DiscoStu,
What are we to do with you?
Your cut'n'paste skills are very neat
But all you do is lie and cheat
Perhaps you think you are 31337?
The only one you fool is you.
We are not amused, DiscoStu.

Erudil, with beard so great,
Must not like your posts of late.
You seem to like downvotes galore
Your experience drops through the floor
Are you out to oust bravismore?
Why do you want to incur such hate,
and make us want to beat your pate?

Are you bored with life that you come here?
Do you think the end is near?
Are you some kind of massochist?
Don't you think we'll get quite pissed?
Steal in Arabia, you'll loose your wrist!
You've posted the worst node of the year.
Many want to box your ear!

Add more stanzas everybody!! Format is AABBBAA.

    DiscoStu, DiscoStu,
Nothing to do but sing the blues.
You made your name in many cities,
But that name just makes us pity,
I'll bet you submitted merlyn with Big ,um, Tracks of Land
So grab your hat and your stool (silent 'l')
As Cartman would say, "No you're not coo . . ."

Jeff "I failed the Turing test and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" Anderson

Sorry, I am having to -- this. I may not enjoy DiscoStu's antics, but I also don't think we should be publically making fun of someone. That isn't what PerlMonks is all about. This makes you sink to his level, and put him more in the spotlight.

    Cheers,
    KM

yes, you are correct, no one deserves to be made fun of.
but IMHO, some people need to have their perspective jostled
as they may not know their actions are viewed in a negative
light. besides DiscoStu knows what he has done, and can take
a little constructive critism, and will hopefully get some experience
      on the positive side. :-)

yes you could be like DiscoStu,
copy and paste, and claim it was you,
waiving your hands like you just don't care,
i bet you even have obfuscated underwear,
now poor Erudil is running bare,
    DiscoStu don't get to blue,
all you need to do is change your view.
