Good point about the drift. Of course, that doesn't explain how you get fossilized fish on top of mountains, or wolly mammoths frozen solid, but that's another discussion entirely. I won't continue the debate / argument further, but I would like to point out that having varied interests doesn't mean that you're automatically worthy of being ignored. It just means you're creative. I bet lots of Perlmonks have unusual interests; for instance, I'm a member of the International Jugglers Association.
