I don't currently have a land line in my house. So the last time I used dial-up was at a friend's house... but I don't recall the last time I was over there using their computer. Given the choices, however, I'll take carrier pigeon. Just about as fast, the pigeons are friendlier than the modem (even if they do make more of a mess) and you get points at Google.
