Newest Nodes is my best friend, and it should be your best friend too. I don't care about the meaning of life, I just want to one day understand the Schwartzian Transform. COBOL vs. Perl. Interesting node for me. I learned Perl while I was doing Y2K work on COBOL programs. I wrote Perl programs to help find and fix Y2K bugs. There really were Y2K bugs.
