you could check out fastolfe's home node which will lead you to fastolfe.net
He had a web cam setup that was controlled with a perl interface (I could be wrong though)
I beleive his setup used lego mindstorms. But he might have some helpful hints.

Ok, thanks, but he has made it with LEGO Mindstorms, so that's not what i wanted even if he has given me ideas. I want to control it with a PERL script....	[reply]
