Klingon Bird of Prey! I always thought the "bad guys" in Star Trek had better looking ships!
In fact... my very first car had a bumper sticker on it declaring "This is a Klingon Warship!" I wish I still had photographs of that car... if you saw them you'd agree with the bumper sticker...

The Day The Earth Stood Still -- what more is there to say? I saw that in the late 60's or early 70's and it left quite an impression.
Clearly, disk-shaped.

In recent few thousdand years I became fond of Quagaar's ships.
They're somewhat shaped like Red Dwarf garbage pods, but they are real alien ships, really... :-)

Of course, there is gas and dust in space, and though it is very thin (in earth terms, at least), a space ship would also have to go very quickly. Aerodynamics are therefore just as important, if not more so, as they would be on Earth. Therefore, I would vote for "the shape of Sam Hornish's car from the Indy 500", because, as Marco Andretti said, "Where did he get that speed?"
