    According to this page, at least 15 (fifteen) people downloaded your module - so why do you think that nobody downloaded your module?

    Remember, its everything in your hands!

    What is that everything, I wonder? Did you place a bet that somebody would need your module?

    While it might be a brilliant module and well written, why should I download code I don't need, just to throw it away? What are you up to?

    I released AutoReloader some time ago, which has 13 PASSes so far. It is fine if others find it useful. If not - *shrug*. I use it...

    --shmem

    _($_=" "x(1<<5)."?\n".q·/)Oo.  G°\        /
                                  /\_¯/(q    /
    ----------------------------  \__(m.====·.(_("always off the crowd"))."·
    ");sub _{s./.($e="'Itrs `mnsgdq Gdbj O`qkdq")=~y/"-y/#-z/;$e.e && print}

    Thanks for pointing out this module. I think it is actually very cool. I am not going to download it now, but the next time I need something like this (and it will probably be soon), I will.

    I didnt get a single download of my module.
    How do you know, since download stats aren't kept?

    why do you want downloads just for the sake of downloads? you'd be much better off telling us why we would want it/how it's useful & some examples or a RFC on what it provides ..
      Hi,

      actually an RFC colud be useful.
      Stop with the marketing gag and lets explain why:
      what the module offers is a kind of synthetic data generation language, i.e. it is a mean to describe a set of values in a very very condensed form.
      How?

      Think about a Regex pattern that instead of filtering the matching data it actually produces it,
      i.e. for example the rule:

      [01]{2} produces the array '00' , '01' ,'10' , '11'.
      Unfortunately regex syntax cannot be used 1:1 for this purpose, so I had to define my own syntax and build de facto a kind of mini data generation language. An RFC about this language could be useful.
      Do you have a suggestion where I could put it?

        Yep, however for one thing they're not called "geek points", but Experience Points, or XP in brief. OTOH it won't last much, unless you put much effort in it. Anyway, what's more important: don't be an XP whore! (Hey, I knew it would have been useful! :-)

    In a similar vein to jdporter, I consider this a cool module, but one that I don't have an immediate need for. Reading the text of the pod, I don't think it's particularly clear a) what the module is for, and b) how to use it.

    I suggest including a tutorial guide in the distribution, together with one or more worked examples.

    If I get to the stage of using it, I will add some commentary to the pod by way of annocpan.

      Hi apprentice Hacker,
      thanks for your good advices.
      I must say that this was also my first real sw publication at all, so no wonder about this and that flaw.
      I'll try in the next occasion (=Release 0.03) to make a better doc with examples and so on.
      About the usage: see this -> http://sourceforge.net/projects/dbfeeder

    HTML tags nest, so instead of writing <i><b>please</i></b>, write <i><b>please</b></i>.
      Thanks for the advice!
