Have you considered asking stvn if Moose provides this information? I know he was doing a lot of work early on in providing appropriate meta-information for subroutines and methods.

My criteria for good software:
  1. Does it work?
  2. Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?
