Categorized Questions and Answers is a bit different (you've probably noticed that). Users aren't allowed to edit their answers (or questions) but QandAEditors are. This is accomplished by making all questions and answers owned by the group QandAEditors which some added magic that lets the original author get (or lose) points when the question or answer that they no longer own is voted on.
The reason for the differences is that Categorized Questions and Answers are meant to eventually get heavilly edited so that what remains are just the best possible answers to frequent questions; no real discussion nor key tidbits locked sevel replies down.
BTW, feel free to reply to Categorized Answers. The QandAEditors should eventually fold the information from your reply into the final answers (IMHO). Anyway...
The list of write-ups is done via an SQL query selecting items based on the owner.
Perhaps the query could be "improved" to account for this (or would that increase the load for that common query too much?). Perhaps a second query could be added so you could at least find a particular monk's stuff in that section, if you wanted to.
